My 11 year old ise using Astronomy right now. I decided to take a break for a few weeks once we are done and do a unit study on the human heart and lap book. Then we will move into Zoo 1.
We use Live and learns lap books.
Is anyone else using Astronomy this year?

Well, we went on a star gazing night in the Colorado Rockies, and took pictures of the moon then, and then later in the summer of the lunar eclipse but we haven't focused on it as a class yet. Oh, yeah, and last year my husband sent home photos of what the solar eclipse in Iraq looked like (pretty much the same as here....LOL).
God bless, Sallie

We've had some feeble attempts at watching meteor showers but have yet to do a formal study. I really want to but need to get the rest of my homeschooling act in gear.
I am proud (and somehow embarrassed at the same time) to admit that my brilliant 3yo has finally re-figured out what the sun and moon are called! He knew this before but then started blurting out in public Wook, there moon! I see moon! Uhhh... nope, that is the SUN.
Thanks for the lapbook recommendation! Hopefully we can check it out to use this summer.
