Hi everyone. I am Amy S, one of the founders and editors of the Heart of the Matter Online. I live in Ohio (go Buckeyes!!) with my husband of 10 years, and our almost 6 year old son.
I am very excited about the new magazine. It is definitely needed.
I am a homeschooling mom of three living in Mississippi. My sites are Life On The Planet and Homeschooler Savvy which I share with a homeschooling friend. Feel free to drop in.

Hi y'all! My name is Marsha and I live in Texas with my husband David and three boys (8yo, 6yo and 3yo). You can look at my siggy to see what curriculum we use in our homeschool-- a bit eclectic with lots of library time, audio books/adventures and ummm... field research (read: we like to play outside).
We've grown and changed a lot in our homeschooling adventure over the years. I hope to share some of my experiences as well as gain much insight from all the pro's out there that have been there, done that! Yup, it's nice to have others to learn from.
You can visit me here if you like. I love having people drop in!

Hi! My name is Kathy, and I've been married to Mike for almost 21 years. We have an almost 12yodd and a just turned 8yods. We've been homeschooling since 2002, when our dd finished our church's PreK and Kindergarten, and we moved across the state with dh's job. We have since crossed the state again, in a slightly different direction, and we're still homeschooling.
I found the site for the magazine from an online friend, and then I found out about the forums from Barbara, who just registered here today as well, although I don't see her introduction yet!
I really look forward to reading the online magazine and the forums. I can always learn something new!
Hi everyone! I'm Dianne, aka Bunny Trails. I've been married for over 21 years and we have two boys, ages 14 & almost 13. This is our third year of homeschool. Both boys attended a neighborhood public school during their elementary years. I pray that people are blessed, encouraged, and ministered to through The Heart of the Matter. I'm blessed personally to be a part of this wonderful team.

Howdy! I am a mother of three living and learning in East Texas. We are transplants from the rugged Northwest and still miss the mountains. The awesome birds who visit us here in the flyway help curb our nature longings though.
This is my fifth year homeschooling using the Principle Approach. I am learning so much repeating 4th grade. :)
lol I was just talking to the woman who taught my kids when they were in school about how much us adults learn 'again' while teaching the children. It's fascinating!
