Today we bring you... State-Tris! It's an online game, played like Tetris, but with the U.S. states instead of funky blocks. There are three levels available: 1)With name, and oriented properly, 2)With name, but with the state shape turned, requiring you to orient it properly before placing and 3)Without name, and with the shape turned. It's a great way to learn the states! On this page, there are also links to several other "Tris" versions of other countries, so you can learn world geography as well.
What a cool game! My boys learn best with games and hands-on activities.
At least it wouldn't be as bad to get addicted to this as it was to Tetris. Oi. I can still remember looking at a skyline and figuring out how I could fit the buildings all together...
